Honda X ADV launch
The X ADV is India‘s first adventure scooter.
Just two days after the launch of the Rebel 500 bobber, Honda has launched another product under its BigWing umbrella. The X-ADV is a fusion of an adventure bike and a scooter. This name was trademarked in India back in 2022. Now, Honda has finally launched this adventure scooter here.
The X-ADV is powered by a 745cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine producing 58.6hp and 69Nm. Just like the Honda Africa Twin and the flagship GoldWing, the X-ADV also comes with a DCT gearbox (6 ratios, to be precise).
It has a 13.2 litre fuel tank with 22-litres of underseat storage and a kerb weight of 237kg. This adventure scooter runs on a 17/15-inch (F/R) cross-spoke wheels setup shod in block-pattern tyres. Braking duties are handled by twin 296mm discs up front and a 240mm disc at the rear. It comes equipped with a 41mm USD fork and a pre-load adjustable monoshock with 150mm of travel at each end. Along with this, the Honda features 165mm of ground clearance with 820mm of seat height.
It gets features like a 5.0-inch TFT display, keyless ignition, switchable traction control and ABS, cruise control and multiple rider modes (Standard, Sport, Rain, Gravel and User).
It is available in a single-variant with two colour options– white and black. Priced at Rs 11.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Haryana), it is priced similarly to the BMW C 400 GT that costs Rs 40,000 less than the Honda X-ADV but uses a 350cc single cylinder engine that produces 34hp. It will be available via BigWing Topline dealerships across India.
