Moto Morini X-Cape 700 unveiled overseas

Moto Morini X-Cape 650, launched towards the end of 2022 in India, came in two variants – the X-Cape 650 and X-Cape 650X. Now, the company has unveiled its successor, the X-Cape 700. Here’s what’s new about it.

  1. Increase in engine capacity from 649cc to 693cc
  2. Power now increased by 10hp

Moto Morini X-Cape 700: What's new?

Torque now increased by 14Nm

The biggest change has been to the motor to meet the latest Euro 5+ norms. This has resulted in an increase in capacity from 649cc to 693cc and a 10hp increase in power and 14Nm increase in torque. There is also now a slightly longer exhaust and the overall styling sees slight revisions. The company claims a dry weight figure of 213kg and a ground clearance of 190mm. Braking duties continue to be handled by a set of Brembo calipers and a 298mm dual disc setup at the front and a 255mm disc at the rear.

Coming back to styling, there’s new livery and slight changes to the front. This now gets a new windscreen and while the size of the TFT remains the same, the size of the bezels has now decreased, making the 7-inch TFT appear larger than before. It also gets a new seat which has resulted in a 10mm increase in overall seat height. Additionally, this bike is available in a new Ebony Black colour. While this motorcycle has been launched overseas, it remains to be seen when Moto Morini plans on bringing the X-Cape 700 to our shores.
