As we have seen before with Baleno-Glanza and Innova Hycross-Invicto, the Toyota-badged version of the shared products is offered at a slight premium, which is also the case here. The Urban Cruiser Taisor carries a premium of about Rs 22,000-25,000 over the corresponding 1.2 petrol variants of the Maruti Fronx. However, the turbo-petrol variants of both the cars are priced similarly.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor vs Maruti Suzuki Fronx: design comparison

Since the Urban Cruiser Taisor is a badge-engineered product, it shares almost all its body panels with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, albeit with subtle differences. The changes include a redesigned trapezoidal front grille with a honeycomb pattern, and a slightly restyled front bumper. The LED DRLs at the front feature a new linear design as opposed to the three cubes seen on the Fronx.

The lighting elements in the tail lights have also been tweaked, but just like the donor SUV, are connected together with a full-width light bar. Moreover, the Taisor also gets a new set of 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Colour options on the Taisor include Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Sportin Red, Lucent Orange, and Gaming Grey. The Fronx is offered with Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, and Bluish Black. Dual-tone options are also available with the turbo versions of both the SUVs.
