The Swift gets up to Rs 42,000 off this month.

For the month of March, Maruti Arena dealers are offering cash discounts, exchange bonuses and other benefits on nearly the entire model line-up, much like last month. The Maruti Alto K10, S-Presso, Wagon R, Celerio, Swift and Dzire, all get the same discounts this month as last month, making Maruti’s affordable models even more approachable. However, like the previous months, the Brezza compact SUV and Ertiga MPV have no benefits. Here’s how much you could save on your new small Maruti during this month.

  1. Maruti Alto K10 gets benefits worth Rs 62,000
  2. AMT-equipped Wagon R, S-Presso and Celerio get up to Rs 61,000 off
  3. Swift gets up to Rs 42,000 in discounts before new-gen model arrives

Maruti Alto K10 discounts in March 2024

The model with the highest amount of benefits this month is also Maruti’s most affordable – the Alto K10. The small hatchback has no direct rivals in the market, and comes with a 67hp, 1.0-litre engine that can be opted with a 5-speed manual or AMT. Variants with the latter gearbox option get up to Rs 62,000 in discounts, while the manual versions have up to Rs 57,000 off. The CNG-equipped Alto K10, which is only available in manual form has benefits up to Rs 40,000. The hatch is priced between Rs 3.99 lakh-5.96 lakh.

Maruti S-Presso discounts in March 2024

While Maruti may call it a mini-SUV, the S-Presso is more akin to a high-riding hatchback. This rival to the Renault Kwid comes with the same 67hp, 1.0-litre engine as the Alto K10, and the same transmission options as well. Like the Alto K10, the S-Presso AMT variants have larger discounts – to the tune of Rs 61,000 – while manual and CNG models get up to Rs 56,000 and Rs 39,000 in discounts this month. The S-Presso range is priced from Rs 4.27 lakh-6.12 lakh.

Maruti Celerio discounts in March 2024

The Celerio is a rival to the likes of the Tata Tiago, and also has the same three-cylinder 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine, along with the same gearbox options, as the hatchbacks mentioned above. During this month, one could avail benefits worth Rs 61,000 on the Celerio AMT, while the manual and CNG versions get discounts up to Rs 56,000 and Rs 39,000. Celerio prices are currently pegged between Rs 5.37 lakh-7.10 lakh.

Maruti Wagon R discounts in March 2024

Along with the previously mentioned 1.0-litre engine, the Wagon R also comes with a 1.2-litre engine; the same 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options are on offer with both options. This tall-boy hatch also serves as an alternative to the Tata Tiago and is currently priced between Rs 5.55 lakh-6.90 lakh for the 1.0-litre engine, while the 1.2-litre versions are priced between Rs 6.28 lakh-7.26 lakh. Benefits to the tune of Rs 61,000 on the AMT models are on offer, while the manual and Wagon R CNG get up to Rs 56,000 and 36,000 off during March.

Maruti Swift discounts in March 2024

The fourth-gen Swift is scheduled to arrive in India shortly, and dealers have been offering benefits up to Rs 42,000 since last month. However, that amount is for the AMT variants; the Swift manual variants and CNG trims have benefits worth Rs 37,000 and Rs 22,000, respectively. The current Swift gets the same 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine has the more powerful Wagon R, and is priced from Rs 5.99-8.89 lakh. The Swift rivals the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios in our market.

Maruti Dzire discounts in March 2024

Like the Swift hatch, the current Dzire compact sedan is also going to see a full model change in the coming months. Maruti’s answer to the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze shares the 1.2-litre engine, and manual and automatic gearbox options with the Swift, and is priced between Rs 6.57 lakh-9.39 lakh.

Maruti Eeco discounts in March 2024

The smallest MPV in Maruti’s range, the venerable Eeco is available with discounts up to Rs 29,000 this month, at least on the petrol version, which is powered by an 81hp, 1.2-litre engine. The CNG version of the seven-seater gets up to Rs 24,000 off during the month of March. Maruti’s Eeco is priced between Rs 5.32 lakh-6.58 lakh.
