Next generation BMW 5-series revealed: Gets electric, petrol and diesel powertrains

The i5 has an 11kW charger as standard and a charging capacity of up to 205kW. BMW claims the sedan can be charged from 10-80 per cent in 30 minutes. India launch is expected to happen sometime in 2024. When launched the sedan will continue to compete with Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, Volvo S90, Jaguar XF and Lexus ES.
