Tata launched the Tiago EV back in September at an introductory price of Rs 8.49 lakh going up to Rs 11.79 lakh, making it the most affordable electric car in India. The launch prices were meant only for the first 10,000 bookings, however, due to strong demand, Tata extended these prices to another 10,000 bookings. Despite the price hike, the Tiago EV still remains the most affordable electric car in our market.

Tata Tiago EV has waiting period of up to six months

The carmaker recently commenced deliveries of the Tiago EV across India, and dealer sources tell us that the waiting period is between 5-6 months for the Medium range variants and four months for the Long range variants. ‘Tropical Mist’ and ‘Teal Blue’ paint shades are in most demand, according to dealers.

All variants of the Tiago EV are compatible with fast charging and both battery packs can be topped from 10 to 80 percent in 57 minutes using a 50kW fast charger.
